Health data
How does Stilla Yoga use Apple Health, Health Connect and smartwatch data?
Data that is read
If you allow the connection, Stilla Yoga reads only your heart rate. It does this only for the length of a yoga flow or breathing practice, and uses it to show you your average and highest pulse at the end of the practice.
Data that is written
Your breathing practices are saved as mindful minutes. Flow, breathing and meditation sessions you start in the Stilla Yoga watch app are saved to Apple Health as workouts.
Where the data goes
- Heart rate data never leaves your device and paired watch. It is not sent to Stilla Yoga's servers, stored or shared with anyone.
- Health data is not used for advertising, marketing or personalized recommendations.
- Breathing sessions you do on the watch (the technique's name and length) are added to your practice history in Stilla Yoga. Heart rate is not part of this record.
Withdrawing permission
You can disconnect in Stilla Yoga under Settings → Watch and Health. To remove the permission entirely, go to Health → Sharing → Apps → Stilla Yoga on iPhone, or Health Connect → App permissions → Stilla Yoga on Android.
